The eggplant Parmesan is the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. Not kidding.
An absolutely fantastic restaurant. My husband and I have wonderful dinners and the owner is very accommodating to meet the needs of each customer. I can't thank them enough for their service and excellent food. Dessert was delicious as well! Loved the atmosphere.

Never had a soft shell crab till I came in for lunch one day with my son. I'm glad we did.
Simply the best dining in eastern North Carolina (perhaps only tied with The Chef and The Farmer in Kinston). The owners and chef are committed to the community and locally sourced food that in turn supports local farm and fishing jobs. Spoon River has served as the culinary catalyst for a renaissance in Belhaven and we couldn't be more grateful!
