We came in on Saturday to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant was very busy and was only taking reservations (luckily we had one), we got one of the best seats in the house up in the front window and the hostess stepped up to be our waitress since everyone was overwhelmed and perhaps a little understaffed. I cannot say enough about how amazing the service was even though kitchen was running behind we were never left wondering what was going on! Food was top notch and service was amazing! We will be back!

What a hidden gem in a small town. Drove an hour just to try after hearing such great things about Spoon River. I was blown away by the whole dining experience. The food was beyond amazing. Owners and staff were very friendly and cared very much about the job they were doing. I will definitely be back!! Thank you again for such a great experience.

If you haven't ever ate at this location you need to make a trip to Belhaven and enjoy one of the best meals in town. The atmosphere and staff is one of the best around, they treat you like family.

Another fabulous meal for our party of 6 last evening. We especially loved the red & white flights of wine with the various cheeses. I took a chance by ordering the Vegetable Wellington and was not disappointed. Best restaurant in Eastern Carolina!
