Awesome Salon This is by far a great salon with great prices. They have replaced some of the girls who were less talented and/or bad attitudes. The salon is updated and comfortable. Great service everytime I am there. A wonderful place and by far the best I have found in New Lenox or surrounding areas.
quality In reference to the previous review Split Enz offers $12 haircuts for kids on tuesdays. Some 13 year olds have more hair than some one in their 20's. I hope that people are judging the salon based on quality not their prices. They have never raised their haircut prices and i believe their stylists deserve some kind of raise after 6 years in business.
$27 kid hair cut. Really?! 11/10/12 Was charged $27 for a 13 year old hair cut. All we had done was a trim, 1 inch taken off and a blow dry. Tipped $5 so total bill was $32. Asked for an explanation as to why it was so much and she said "the owner raised prices a month ago" *****Go to Charles Morris Salon on route 30. You get a better hair cut (includes a blow dry) and they only charge $15 for kids***** I will never refer anyone or go back to split enz-what a RIP OFF!!!
Inappropriate language i really struggle with this review. I loved Desiree's work & hated Polly's. I quit going to this salon because of the crude talk. I am by no means a prude, but it happened each time I went & I changed to a salon where they act more professional.
HorribleOwner I will never ever go back to the salon. The owner (the woman) seemed arrogant and rude. She didn't smile and just gave me an overall bad vibe. I just felt like she was making her staff feel uncomfotable as well.
LOVE THEM!! I absolutely LOVE this salon!! Lori is awesome! My son who is 12 will ONLY go to Split Endz - Lori is the only one he will settle for! My daughter goes there as well - although she will see anyone because she thinks all of them are very good at what they do. The prices are not bad, and I always feel welcome there. Keep up the great work!!
Great people! Desiree' is awesome! I won't go to anyone else. I get so many compliments on my hair, I can't say enough about her. Kailyn does my son's hair and she is always friendly,personable and does a great job.
Happy Camper I LOVE Emily.......She totally got me right away and knew exactly the style I wanted............She did an amazing job. I just called for my next appointment and my sister is going to change from her regular stylist of 20 years to go here.
EMILY IS THE ONLY SUPERSTAR THERE! I go to this salon all the time. I for sure agree that its a hit or miss. When I get Emily I always get top notch service & performance. Shes wonderful!!! If I go to the other girls I get the feeling that Im inconveniencing them & that they just want to get my services done & overwith. Alot are not friendly. I go for brow waxing every 2-3 weeks & have gotten burned by them numerous times....i think it was because they were rushing to get me out of there so bad they were careless & burned me... read more
