One of the coolest sports bars I’ve ever been to. Love the big long bar, great bourbon selection. Huge TV’s, cool styling, excellent & friendly service. Good food too, had the char burger and a corn dog. Well done all the way around.
I used to enjoy coming to Spirit of ‘77, however me and my 3 friends sat down yesterday (a Saturday) at the bar for a drink and some Blazers. There was one TV far behind us with that game on so we kindly asked the bar tender “hey any way you can put the Blazers game on” (on the TV in front of us) and he got up in arms and started yelling at us about the other people here watching a different game for hours. Great people and good time! When I come back to Portland I'll be stopping by for more drinks
These guys know their crowd and are set up for it. Not crowded when we were there, but it was clear to us that they can handle a crowd, from the table set up to the extra long bar to the short menu - keeping it simple. Parking is a challenge. We will come back.
