We ordered from here for our Easter dinner. It was sooooo good. They were very kind about accommodating our needs. We asked for half jerk chicken and half jerk pork in the family size portion. It was delicious, and we still have leftovers. Everything still tastes great the day after. The rice, plantains, and Johnny cakes were the best sides. The meat was juicy and full of flavor and spice. I gave this place a second try after much thought. I love the ambiance and background music. The waitress was attentive and checked in on me which was comforting. Spice Island has a positive vibe. I really want to like this place and support the business. However the food is overpriced and portions are too small. I've had better food with plentiful portions at food trucks.
