Loved the Jerk chicken and Brown Chicken Stew! So glad we made this our first stop for lunch when visiting Colorado Springs!
Best Jamaican food in town, no doubt. Don't fall for that Rasta Pasta college kid trickery. Spice Island is the real thing.

This is by far the best restaurant I have been to since I moved to Colorado Springs four months ago(I eat out a lot). The food was fresh and delicious. This is clean eating comfort food at its finest. I was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan menu. I ordered to go. I ordered the vegan jerk tofu steaks with rice and peas and the garden vegetable blend, curry chicken with rice and peas and yucca root. I also ordered plantains and tofu fries. Everything was excellent! Respect to the chef. I'll be back soon.
Saw it on DDD, were in town and decided,to try it. Well glad we did, excellent Jamaican food, friendly staff, and a Caribbean atmosphere.
Reggae night was a blast! Great music and friendly fun people. Big up spice island! Please do it again soon �
Delicious food and great atmosphere! I especially enjoyed the pumpkin soup.
