My son attended the China program this summer and it was fabulous. The trip was planned flawlessly and my son got to experience China in a way we could never show him. Thank you SPI!

My daughter went to Biarritz this summer with SPI Abroad. This was her 2nd stay-with-a-family abroad experience and her 4th overall international study experience. At the last minute after arrival in France, my daughters host family was changed. Nobody told her of the change so she went to the house thinking it was the family for which we received information. I studied with SPI in San Sebastian, Spain for ten weeks. Nothing but great things to say about the program and the experience. The town was amazing, my host family was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the school program was spectacular. It astounds me how much my Spanish improved. It should be required to study abroad at some point in everyone's life. It changes who you are and how you see the world. If you are on the fence, let SPI put you in touch with some alumni. went on SPI in 2006 to San Sebastian. All I can say is my Spanish really improved and I still keep in touch with lots of people I met on that trip!

My experience in Biarritz with SPI changed my life! I have to admit I wanted a study abroad program for the fun, but once I arrived I realized there was much more to it! I have traveled outside the US multiple times with my family, but always stayed at hotels, sheltered from the "real world" during this program I stayed with an awesome family who not only helped with my French, but also helped me take in every aspect of the culture.
