I purchased a ‘52 F1 that had dual 9Super7 carbs. One carb leaked and when we removed it we found a casting defect in the area of the float bowl. I called Speedway and asked if they sold the float bowl section in chrome and that I had not been the original buyer. They are sending me a replacement float bowl and throwing in a gasket set...at no charge! We need more businesses like Speedway Motors�

everything was mostly good for the money. working on my sons 51 ford f1. disk brakes conversion on the front. calls for a spacer between the axle nut and the bearing. Don't do it. Put a gm 3 speed in same truck. Had to have the bearing retainer turned down to to fit in the bell housing after I was assured it was the right one. called and was told they had never heard of that and most people put t-5's in. My son wanted to retain the 3 in the tree I also purchased the pressure plate with the adapter. Had to pull the trans back... read more

The "tech" called me a liar when I told him my intake manifold was a four bolt ( he said it was a three bolt ) that three bolt was a riser, not the manifold itself. Risers are a dime a dozen dummy. Steve is not an intelligent "tech" and there's no way you worked for him for thirty years.
