We had an amazing experience at Spectrum Salon with Beau. The salon itself immediately stood out for being clean, relaxed, and welcoming. My kid went in with two inspiration photos and a very general idea of a wolf/jellyfish cut. They’re a shy pre-teen, so explaining exactly what they wanted wasn’t easy. Beau was fantastic at translating those ideas into an actual haircut. I'm an adult, femme, queer human and I have had nothing, but great experiences with Beau. He's a wonderful person and always cuts my hair how I like it (and I like it different almost every time). He also asks a lot of questions to make sure your experience is tailored to you.
My 3 year old has had his last three cuts with Beau who is amazing. The space is private, has lots of toys, and a TV to help distract if needed. Beau is super patient and my kid has been more comfortable with getting his haircut every time.
