Terrible Customer Service Experience!!!!! I contacted a Representative from SpectraPure due to a defective RO unit that I had purchased brand new. Unit was in use less than a month. SpectraPure sent 2 membranes that blew out right after placing them in use. After contacting SpectraPure again, I was asked to send back the entire RO unit. After sending back the RO unit at my expense ($50) SpectraPure stated that they repaired the unit and sent it back to me. After all the inconvenience, I asked SpectraPure for extra filters. I own a local fish store. I personally used their units and sold them. They were once a great business. They have gone down hill tremendously. Defective unit after defective unit over the last two years. They will not honor warranties for customers or return phone calls. Customer service is horrible. Do yourself a favor, and save some money and buy one from Bulk Reef Supply. Much better customer service.
