Great experience getting new glasses......staff was helpful and friendly and there were enough choices for me to find frames I was happy with. My only true disappointment was that I was looking for pink mirror for my sunglass lens but they do not have that option. As well, they do not carry the Oakley brand which my husband was looking for. All in all, a very worthwhile place to check for glasses before you hit the significantly more expensive eye glass stores. Also, you get PC points!
I was long overdue to get new glasses and sunglasses. I live close to Specsavers, and wanted to give them a try. It was the easiest process for picking glasses I have ever done. Josh was awesome from beginning to end, he let me know the sales and checked if my benefits would direct bill. Picked out and paid (through benefits) for my two pairs in less than 25 minutes. Huge thank you to Taz of Specsavers Airdrie. We first met her at the CrossIron location, where she was incredibly accommodating, and we were so happy to have her assist us again in Airdrie. We didn’t have a good experience with our orders at the CrossIron location but when we went to Airdrie branch, she went above and beyond with our concern and made sure everything was taken care of. I brought in an existing prescription to have glasses made. When I received them, the distance vision was fine, however the close vision was very uncomfortable and distorted. Looking at my phone created a warped or “half moon” effect that made it difficult to use properly.
