Steaks were really good. Not many places get our medium steaks right but our steaks were perfect and the service was great
Most people don’t know what the true definition for medium, med rare, and rare actually are. Speckled Perch gets it right true steakhouse style. Most people are used to the way big chains over cook a steak. Their beef is seriously flavorful and tender. The French onion soup is definitely one of the best I’ve ever had, although sometimes it doesn’t come out hot enough, but the servers will gladly take it back to heat it thru more for you. Only place in Okeechobee to get a perfect steak every time! People often complain about the cost but I have no problem paying for a steak that cuts like butter and melts in your mouth! Seasoned and cooked to perfection�
My family and I had dinner here this evening. Not my first time at this nice restaurant, usually very good food and service. Tonight I was highly disappointed as we sat for over an hour waiting for our food and it came out COLD! Server stated she got stuck at register and no one wanted to bring our food out. $25 per steak and we had to eat them cold? I stated this to our server and she told us sorry and walked away. Well sorry we won't be back for awhile.
