I had the exact opposite experience to what I was hoping for at Special Beginnings. I did not feel that the midwife I ended up stuck with at birth (shift change after labor began) of my delivery was caring, compassionate or wise. The attitudes from certain staff while I was in labor at the center were very unprofessional. Transferred my care here, as to this was my only option for having a water birth and it was the best decision I made! I had a beautiful, and successful water birth and all of the staff were helpful and amazing especially the midwives! I would definitely recommend this place!
I’ve had three successful pregnancies and births with the team at Special beginnings. They’ve always been supportive, respectful, caring, and informative. They also helped me through a miscarriage with excellent care and sensitivity. I highly recommend this establishment. They are awesome from the ladies at the front desk, midwives, nurses, lab techs, and everything in between 💜💜💜.
Coming to Special Beginnings was seriously the BEST choice I could have EVER made. Everyone from the office staff, midwives, nurses, and lab tech are so nice. Everyone truly listens to what you have to say and cares about you. I never feel rushed or like a number. My birth center water birth was more than I could have dreamed of and the postpartum care was outstanding.
Unprofessional staff! Without any respect to the pregnant woman. Had terrible experience. Never recommend.
I had the most wonderful birth experience with the care team at SBBWC! I did not get my birth center birth but they were able to give the same level of care at the hospital due to some complications that they caught Early! I will be using them indefinitely! Thank you Rachel, Genee and Joann for enabling me to have such a wonderful birthing experience ❤️
