Briggs is a wonderful organization that goes above and beyond. The facility is set up to allow our furry friends to live in comfort until they find homes and the staff is very compassionate in what they do. I highly recommend Briggs to anyone looking to adopt. We need more places like this.
My husband and I adopted both our dogs from Briggs, a chiweenie back in 2016 and a cute chi x Italian greyhound just this past May. We visited twice the second time and fell in love with Leela. All the staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable and take the time to answer your questions. When we brought our other dog for the meet and greet they allowed us to spend all the time we needed with the dogs. They also have an alumni announcement on the floor so that any staff who knew or worked with Dexter could come visit with him ... read more

I was the owner of a siamese cat that lived to be 21 years old... she passed away in April... I stopped by cause my daughter recommended them... they had siamese kittens. After they searched my background they said I couldn't have one because I didn't have copies of my shot records from the vet from my previous pets. (they did have their shots by the way when they were younger... but my father had a older cat that passed away the night after getting his shots) My cat never went outside.... We’ve had our beautiful boy Odin for a few weeks now and couldn’t be more in love!!! Sam, at BRIGGS, was amazing! She made sure we found the right dog to fit our family and who gets along well with our other dog and cat. The process is very thorough because they want to make sure the family loves and cares for their animals as much as they do. Thank you BRIGGS for your dedication to these beautiful animals!
