RecommendedWe just adopted the sweetest kitten from Briggs 3 weeks ago. Our adoption coordinator was wonderful and you can tell how much she (and everyone there) cares about the animals. The facility is clean and the cat room looks like so much fun for them. I've had pets all of my life, but I've learned a lot of good information from them on pet care that I didn't know previously. The follow-up calls checking on the kitty was really nice too. Thank you for everything!!!
I would totally recommend this place to adopt your new fur baby. They do the best that they can at making sure we had everything we would need prior to picking up our kitten as well making sure our new fur baby was in great health. I can't imagine why anyone would this place a bad review. Everything they do is for the animals not to cater to our wants.

Great place that works with area vets and helps with costs related to spay/neuter of pets. They also help with costs for certain shots. I highly recommend them! Thank you, Spay Today!
I work here and this place is beyond amazing! The adoption councilors really look out for these animals, they make sure that they're going to a really great home! I care a lot about these animals and it's so amazing seeing these cats/dogs going to their forever home of their own! We have many to choose from, I'm sure you'd find your furry best friend within minutes! ❤️
My family and I went in to see a few different puppies, one of which they refused to let us see because there are six kids in my family and they did not think the dog would get along with so many kids, and therefore did not even give us a chance to meet her. After that experience we have never gone back and will never adopt from there. Places like animal control and the Berkeley county humane society and much better and are actually willing to allow a loving family to adopt pets despite the number of kids they have.
If you are considering adopting a cat or dog please choose Briggs ! We got our bell almost a year ago and she is such a lovely addition to our family ! Thanks Briggs for blessing us with our furbaby
My father and I visited Briggs to look into adopting a dog for him. His 14 year old dog passed away a month prior. The lady at the desk was really nice. The girl who took us back to look at the dogs was rude. She has no business dealing with the public. Right off the bat, you could tell they were not interested in giving my dad the time of day.
