My sweet daddy came here for the final days of his life in March of 2013. Not only was our family impressed with the facility, the doctors, nurses, and staff; I was grateful to get to spend the final days with daddy and not have to leave his side. What amazed us was the respect they all have and when your loved one passes they lay a beautiful quilt over them, wait on your family to arrive, and will play your favorite song on the piano while they wheel your loved one out. My Mema was in the Hospice House for almost 4 days before her passing and everyone that works there or was involved in anyway were the nicest and most generous people to the whole family and did their upmost beat to make Mema as comfortable as possible. She was in Room #9 from Nov. 26 - Nov. 30.
My father was treated with dignity and respect, as were we. The only suggestion I would make would be quiet music such as is played at SRMC. All staff was wonderful to us.
My Mama was there July 2014. We couldn't have asked for better staff. They kept my Mama comfortable through her last few days. Bless everyone who helped her and us there. Missing My Mama!!!
My dad was here and the nurses and staff are excellent.
