The ethics of at least one of the coaches here is questionable at best. A student of theirs has inappropriately executed their strength in my direction on more than one occasion when it was not warranted— as such, I called their facility just to inquire about WHAT they teach, and if they DO put any emphasis on the when/how to use what they’re learning here, so as not to unnecessarily harm others. I've been coming to Spartan for a few years now, it's a great atmosphere. The instructors are all extremely knowledgeable and supportive whether teaching the whole group or giving one on one help. It's a great atmosphere and everybody is welcomed. I wouldn't want to train anywhere else.
Highly recommend this gym for adults and kids. Great coaching and atmosphere that the kids love to learn in and come out highly trained. Been going for years and can’t imagine going to any other BJJ gym!
I've been taking BJJ classes at Spartan since the beginning of 2025, and I would definitely recommend it. Great coaching, and the other students are very supportive and helpful. Overall a great atmosphere even for someone coming in with zero experience.
