Before they bought the local storage company, the place was good and rent afforable...but now after several rent raises...its just awful Not only that, now there is no one on site, since it became SpareBox my unit has been broken into atleast twice that i know... and lost several thousands in items, but since i cant itemize them the insurance is useless. ZERO STARS. SPAREBOX IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY. They bought a local storage in Allenstown NH shortly after I moved my things in, and took away my military discount first off. They literally doubled my rates from $35-$70 for a 5x5 unit in 2 years. They knew I lived or of state. When I was finally able to take time off of work to drive 17 hours to move my things out, I discover that they had MOVED THE GATE and my things were no longer secured. We had a storage there and got broken in three times there is no security cameras the management is not helpful we lost a lot of imp collections.

I would give this place a negative 10 if I could ever since they required the properties in New Hampshire all they do is go up on the rent constantly I just got another rent increase every time I turn around they're going up now I'm paying $199 a month six months ago I was paying $184 a month 6 months before that I was paying less than that I don't recommend this place to anybody there's a lot of storage places around do your research this place all they care about is money money money you know when people run a storage unit... read more

When I rented my storage facility it was privately owned and I paid $110.00 monthly for my climatized unit. The facility was bought out by Sparebox and they raised the rent in 2021 (during the pandemic) to $125 and now its $148.00 a month. My beef is that they did not notify me that they were raising it to $148.00, I just happened to catch it on my online bank statement. Since change of ownership, they have removed the main entry security gate to the facility, my rent has gone up twice from $120 a month to $144 a month, and 90% of the time, the keypad is gives a "system disabled" message after entering my key code during normal business hours. I currently pay them over $1700 a year and can't access my unit whenever I really need to. Customer service is non existent after 5:00 PM.
