Why is this place rated #1??? – I REALLY don't understand why this place was awarded as the top day spa! I see more negative reviews than good. Someone better do some recalculating! I have to agree that they rush you in and rush you out and are certainly not personable. I also agree with CrazyPR to go down the street to Spa 5101. It's peaceful and the service is fantastic!

spa sisters – My sister and I just visited Spalon Montage. her first, my 4th. The atmosphere at Edina is spa perfect. Services are very good. It would be nice if they asked ahead of time if you are a "spa socializer" (meaning you want chit-chat with your stylist / facialist, etc.) or if you prefer to enjoy your service in peace and quiet (meaning NO TALKING). A little bit of heaven – I've been given 1/2 day and full day packages as gifts, and there is nothing I'd rather have than a day at Spalong Montage. Always treated well, pampered to your heart's desire, and the quality of the services were excellent. Wet noodle indeed!

Edina location is great! – I love everything about the Edina location. I see Sean for my color/cut, Elizabeth for my waxing, and Mishon for my nails. They are all wonderful, everyone at Spalon is so nice, and they all seem happy to help in any way they can!

Not all that!! – I am so tired of hearing every suburban, brain dead bimbo talk about how great this spa is. I consider a spa to be a quiet haven that makes you feel like you are the only one who matters and allows you to be pampered. The Edina location is way too busy and crowed and I felt like it was a huge cattle call that made you feel like you are just another number in line. Esthetician Elizabeth – 5 years ago I received a certificate for a facial, massage & pedicure. The latter 2 services were fine, but the esthetician, Elizabeth, was wonderful. I've returned to her every 2-3 months since that time. Problem skin did nothing for my self-confidence and she was not only empathetic but also helped improve my complexion thru facials and recommending appropriate product. Not only is she is knowledgeable; but seems to love her job and helping people look better.

This is a Spa??? – I went to Spalon Montage with a group of friends who go twice a year for a "spa" day together. We had heard good things about Spalon but we were disappointed in the service. Unfriendly employees and massages that were anything but relaxing. This place has been crossed off our list for any return visits. Our search continues for the best spa.

Doesn't deserve to be nominated – After reading these user reviews, I don't understand why this spa is even being considered. Unreliable service? Snobbishness? Smelly pedicure rooms for $75 a pop? I'd vote for JUUT any day over this place.
