Matt the vet that did an emergency surgery on my 5 year old Razor Back Pitbull was awesome. He took the time to explain everything prior to and after her surgery. He even had taken care of her the next day with IV , Antibiotics and Pain Meds while i was at work. Being from Phenix City , Al. and not having anyone to watch over her while i was at work shows how much this office cares about your beloved pet and their owners. This is a fantastic Animal Hospital with terrific staff. They listen when you tell them what your pet is doing. Dr. Paola Steyling corrected one problem our dog had for a few years in the first visit. Our previous vet just made light jokes about the problem. Highly recommend them.
I boarded my lab mix and Maltese for a long weekend. They were able to keep them together which is fantastic. This was the first time the lab came home from boarding without hot spots. Even though I live some distance away I will return here. The staff is very nice and the doctors could not be more caring.

I was referred to S.A.H. from my personal trainer who also has a rescue. I had a terrible experience with my bully's previous vet of 5 yrs. I was impressed with S.A.H. from the time I walked in. Even after the visit I received follow-up emails, & calls from the Dr. I wasted know time posting my experience on social media! Thanks so much!
