my first visit... – my nieces birthday..took her to dinner..our first trip..mediocre service for mediocre food..appropriate i suppose.. i think our waiter had an iq of 80 and thats being kind..we asked for a leasurly meal..instead we got rushed..the food was ok for the price..nothing to really compliment..my advice..ya want good food? dont bother ya want good service?dont bother
What is with this city? – I am not bashing Pittsburgh, I love it here and lived here all my life. This is way Pittsburgh ranks low in survey polls about lifestyles. This place is a family restaurant, not romantic at all. It is noisy, no atomsphere, and they give you crayons for crying out loud. You drink your "pop" from a piece of uncooked spaghetti. The Olive Garden has better sauce, and this is coming from someone who grew up with my Grandmother's "all day" sauce that she stirred all day, and all night.
SugarSauced – I do not understand why people eat here. The sauce has more sugar in it than caramel.
Not romantic, an average resturante – This is a nice cute place with a unquie atmosphere, by no means is it a great Italain Resturante or one of the best places to eat in pittsburgh. Its an average resturante where your treated as a normal guest. I would not recommend this as a very romantic place. The service is slow. They almost always have coupons for buy one entree get one free. its definitly worth that. I would not go unless I had a coupon for this place.
Lunch is nice – I have only ever eaten here for lunch since I work all of about 3 blocks away. I would have thought that everyone always loves pasta, but not all the time. The place is laid back and price is reasonable. Food is average.
