Just can't get it together! – My family twice made reservations at this place and twice they were not honored. We have large family with small children so its important for us to get in early so I made reservations to guarantee this. Both times they claimed the reservation didn't exist! For those of you with small children who turn into gremlins after their bedtime this is a serious setback for a family trying to celebrate a special event.
Best Value & Service i've ever had – First, free parking!...you can't find that downtown anywhere. We had an excellent server who suggested a new shrimp dish, she told us that they make all of their sauces from scratch every day. We're Wednesday regulars, they have Spaghetti with salad, bread, and soft drink for only $4.99. We were pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful the restaurant was. Our kids love to sit in the real life trolley car inside the restaurant. My favorite dining room is the bedroom, they have brass beds ... read more
I wont eat there again – The place was dirty. A friend of mine works in the kitchen and he said he wont eat there at first I thought he was kidding because he laughed..then I was shown the kitchen...UNREAL were are the inspectors? Seems like that just place that green sticker on windows anymore. I didnt like the sauce at all. Believe me I wont be back to that establishment!
User review by lil95gt – We live 2 hours away from Pittsburgh in Ohio. Started going to the Spaghetti Warehouse when we lived in Pittsburgh. We come back at least every couple of months to eat at there. One day the food can be excellent and the next awful. The worse night was for our honeymoon night in April of 2005. The food was bad, and the service was awful needless to say we left no tip and was very disappointed. But I would recommend trying it. Maybe next trip will be better.
Poor service – Of the 4 people in my party, all agreed that the food was excellent. However, the lack of attention from the waitress was so extreme that we all became quite frustrated, and ended up leaving no tip. She did not ask us if we wanted a drink, an appetizer, a dessert, etc. No drink refills were offered nor were any provided. We thought we might mention to the manager the long periods of time during which the waitress was inaccessible, but there was apparently no management on the premises this evening. It's too ba... read more
Friendly & Fun!2 – Have been here many times . Food is good, although menu has changed several times over past few years. Good place to go with family & friends. I do have a problem with some of the hostesses. They don't smile. I do manage to get a petite brunette, though, who is always smiling. Some of the others should take a lesson in manners from her. She was usually there on weekends, althought not much lately. She was always very polite and helpful. Another drawback is going on a Saturday. Very crowded. Go around 4pm,or ... read more
Absolutely Average – No place on a top ten list!!!! Mass produced, average food, with the exception of lasgna...this is an inexpensive, cutsy place that has the advantage of free parking, big portions and affordable prices...decent but nothing special...good family night out or affordable lunch...
The Kids Like It – The food is average, but the kids enjoy eating there. Interesting things to look at, younger children will like eating in the old streetcar.
Festooned with colorful memorabilia and conversation pieces, this Italian stop provides sensory satisfaction. – The Scene Customers find a small bar for the adults and a few video games for the kids. A genuine Port Authority streetcar dating from the mid-20th century dominates the interior. Customers should call ahead if streetcar dining is the object. There's also a kids' menu where every entree is under $4. Register the children for the Birthday Club and on their birthday they'll receive a free kids entree or a piece of bi... read more
