Beautiful, but no character – I didn't care for Spa West. It is beautiful, but the service isn't great. I wasn't even offered anything to drink.
Don't ever go to Spa West – By looking from the outside you would think it was the Best Spa in all Ohio. It is beautiful, however the service is horrible and you are rushed around from place to place you and have no time to settle in and relax. They must overbook, because the workers are running around and it seemed to me that everything was running behind schedule. I have been there a handful of times and have decided not to return. They really don't seem to care about keeping their clients happy!
Disappointing-- not as promised – This is the type of place where you get your treatment and leave. You're ushered into a treatment room and then ushered out. Not true relaxation or a tranquil place to unwind. My spa pedicure was nice, but not $60 nice. We expected there to be a hot tub and sauna to use as part of our spa experience (and in fact were led to believe that this was available) and the pictures on the web site led us to think that there were lounge chairs to hang out on (no lounge chairs were on the patio.) you can't even call this a spa – we were promised the use of hot tubs at this spa (which is why we chose spa west in the first place), but once there, were offered only "water therapy" (for a price). apparently the person who had told us about the hot tub use was no longer with them, and they were unwilling to give us more than an apology. we were also under the impression there was a pool, which was again wrong. there treatments were mediocre and expensive. could have just exfoliated at home.
The Spa to go to – Staff is qualified. Customer Service is great. Pete does a great job on hair!
