All I know is that they made us wait, passed other ppl that looked whiter than us (we are Latinos) and sat them ahead and had way better table than us. They forgot to bring utensils for the oysters. It didn’t hit the mark on flavors for all our dishes. One waitress tripped fell off right beside us. Food went all over the place, my clothes were barely missed. It was all very awkward. And if I read the room wrong then that table next to where all the service has to pass through shouldn’t exist. I’m not coming back.
We had New England Chowder, Shrimp Scampi Risotto, Fried Seafood Platter, Frutti d'mare. These meals were more than excellent. Our server was Dana. She was outstanding as well.
Busy, reservations are recommended for groups of 2 or more. The bar upstairs is first come first served, but it is also usually full. I would consider relatively expensive but the views and food are worth it. When the weather is good they a lot of outdoor seating.
My wife and I are from PA, and visited some friends in Mystic. Our friends picked the restaurant and they could not have made a better selection. If you visit Mystic and don't eat here, you are missing out. The seafood pasta was some of the best I have ever had. Everything was great. Spectacular food all around. Spectacular service. The waiter had a great knowledge of the menu and the town. I highly recommend it!! 5 stars all around!!
