I lived at The Sovereign during grad school and was very impressed. The management is great--Sheila Olson is really wonderful to work with. My apartment was on the east side and it was a little dark, but the apartment was spacious and extremely convenient for bus travel to campus.
I have been living here since fall 2020. I love this place. Quiet and friendly neighbors. The only con I found is that the elevator isn’t working most of the time.
I’ve lived at Sovereign for the past two years, and honestly, it’s the best apartment one could imagine. The apartment manager, Sheila, truly cares about the residents. She always goes above and beyond to offer as much flexibility and help as possible. She’s so caring, capable, responsive, and reliable — she really deserves all the praise. I lived in Sovereign Apartments for about 10 years, and my experience has been excellent. The management and maintenance teams are always responsive and considerate. A special shout-out to Sheila Olson—she is incredibly kind, professional, and responsible. She truly goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel valued and taken care of. I highly recommend Sovereign Apartments to anyone looking for a well-managed and comfortable place to live!
I am truly grateful for such a wonderful renting experience. This is the first apartment I rented in Madison. I lived here for 3 years. I work very long hours at the UW hospital (I’m a surgical resident) and this was an amazing housing situation. It was clean, quiet, affordable, and incredibly convenient.
