YOU'LL GET SICK EATING HERE! HORRBLE SERVICE and FOOD! I went to Souzai to get a quick bite to eat and decided to watch the game at the bar. The bartender was rude from the start and gave limited eye contact and said 'yea' to anything i said. He was more occupied with yelling profanity at the television screen and making sexual comments to the staff then to place my order properly and make the correct drink. WORST SUSHI BAR EVER! Nasty Overpriced Food, Rude Service and Unsanitary. The friendliest thing about this place is all the fruitflies. Everything is literally covered in them. The server was unbelievably rude and we even caught her trying one of our drinks with a straw before bringing it to the table!!!! EW! The rolls were so disgusting. The fish tasted so spoiled and smelled rotten. I bit into the salmon and pockets of water bursted in my mouth. I almost vomited. DONT GO HERE!
Overpriced though fresh and tasty. This sushi/ Japanese restaurant at the Caesar's Atlantic City Pier mall inhabits a very small space. Though the mall area is visually interesting, the restaurant itself does not offer any sort of Japanese flair. The fish is always fresh and though tasty, overpriced for what it is. If your in the casino and are craving Sushi, its recommended but certainly not if your looking for a fine dining experience or quick snack.
Souzai Sushi & Sake, waitress was rude enough!!!! 10/22,went to there and we ordered some rolls, waitress dropped one of the eel on the table, and she said that "i cleaned table!" i cant believe she said that rude enough. she came to table after and she said she was busy because boss sent other lady to home and she was the only one working . that wasnt my problem, .nobody tell me to eat something dropped on the table. since she said that i wonder how they cook and put on the dish. i wonder if they wash their hands???? clean ... read more
Excellent experience I recently ate at Souzai Sushi and Sake. This was one of the best Japanese meals I have had in long time. The sushi was extremely fresh and tasty. The cocktails were very creative and refreshing. Wonderful view of Atlantic City. The staff was very firendly and engaging. I will definelty be back, on my next trip to Atlantic City.
