Today is just another reason why I love Dr. Penn. We've seen two other doctors and gotten three different medications in the last 3 weeks. We saw Dr. Penn this morning. He re-ran labs, checked new labs, did an xray, and an ultrasound. We had a diagnosis in 2 hours. Dr. Penn came in the room three times to explain everything and pulled up the xray to go over with me, he answered my questions (he always does) but he did again. I was tricked into signing for work that I verbally declined. I wouldn't take a dieing animal to them. Their front desk clerk lost them my business.
I have nothing but high praise for the people at Southwood Drive Animal clinic. I felt like they truly cared for my sick pup. Unfortunately, he was too far gone and too weak to recover. We had to make that horrible decision this morning. Thank you to everyone there for the wonderful care of our baby.

It's ridiculous that just because I'm not an established patient and my dog who was attacked by another dog has to suffer because that's not his regular vet and can't be seen after hours. How can you call yourself a dog lover when you won't help just because you have never seen him in your office. That is just rude and unprofessional. Will never take my pet there!
