RecommendedVery disappointed in them I had an emergency and when I called to bring in my dog they said they were all booked up but could see her tomorrow. I repeated it was an emergency and was told “well the dr won’t even be in until 9:30”. I use to love Southwood not so much now
Our family will only go here for anything animal related. They are professional and compassionate, and I can't say enough good things especially about Julie and how easy she made a difficult time for us. Definitely recommend!
My dog has went to this clinic for 15 years. Due to covid I lost both of my jobs. I stopped to pickup flea meds for her the other day and since it had been a year since her last visit they refused to sell them to me. They blamed it on her not being with me to weigh. I know my dog weighs 21 pounds and I told them that. So now I’ve not been able to sleep for about a week because my poor dog has been itching. Very disappointed how a 15 yr old customer was treated

I have always had great care of my pets. Recently my dog went missing and was picked up by a wonderful local citizen and was taken to Southwood Animal Clinic who took very good care of him. They checked him out and gave him something for fleas, scanned his microchip and called us to come pick him up. They didn’t charge us anything which was so awesome! I will never use any other clinic.
They are the Best! I would never use anyone else.
Our new rescue girl Greta received excellent care at Southwood Drive Animal Clinic! The facility is lovely and clean, everyone was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Penn and Julie were just fantastic with Greta! (Perhaps they give out TOO MANY Milkbones though!) We had to put my sweet dachshund to sleep yesterday. Dr Shawn Penn and the staff were all so caring and showed kindness and empathy that made this process much easier for us. Our family appreciates all the care and treatment they did to try and help our sweet Jaxon. We have never had a negative experience over the years of using this clinic.
