i lived at Southwood Cooperatve for 3 years, paying rent faithfully and even allowing the board to use of my apartment for viewing by Bankers for refinancing purposes. It must have looked good to them but I always had mice (creepy) .... for 3 years straight and dealt with roaches a few times (so gross) the buildings are old with layer of paint. the worse thing is that they price gouge if you leave, making the tenant pay obsessive bills for the Cooperatives improvements... even threatening collection. please keep looking and ... read more
Has lots of small parks and dog walking areas with doggie bags and trashcan. 2-4 bedroom apartments.
My son lives here. It's a very nice, well maintained community
