RecommendedCon law taught by professor Knipprath was excellent. Surprisingly, in a law school with heavy liberal bias, constitutional law was a breath of fresh air. These courses more than prepared me to run for the Nevada state assembly and discuss issues of fundamental rights. Just a warning to prospective students, for a school claiming to be diverse, they do not encourage intellectual diversity. I was included in a meeting with Dean Prager on the issue, not sure if things have changed since then.
I obtained a great legal education and a practical work experience at Southwestern.
Friendly, modern, avant-garde, very caring teachers and administrators; very practical.
Law school is hard (and should be, given the profession it prepares you for) but Southwestern's smart, supportve, and flexible approach makes law school doable and ENJOYABLE.
