I hated it. The phlebotomist PHILLIP was so rough and unprofessional . He pulled the needle out of my hand and just let blood drip to the floor. Then gave me a cup and asked for a urine sample. The ER is horrible as well. I waited 2 hrs before I could even check in then the two people at the front are so damn LAZY there was other patients pushing myself and a few others in the wheelchairs. When her nurse found out she would be missing the her overnight class trip to Sea World (and having to stay another night inpatient), he talked to the Child Life team. They made her this amazing gift bag full of Sea World items. The staff at University Hospital really went all out to make sure her stay was the least traumatic and scary as possible. They really were amazing, but we are glad to be home this week.
I've never seen so much confusion about who's who (patients) in the back. It was beyond ridiculous. So bad it turned into a running joke between my wife and I. And than just waiting for discharge papers, took almost an hour. Very disappointing, especially for a teaching hospital. (former EMT)
The doctors are caring and compassionate and do their best to take care of their patients and go above and beyond. The nurse take awesome care of you and your family. Everyone involved in my husbands care have been awesome.
This was the worst experience of my life.i was treated worse than a dog at a vets visit.they also asked me if i shot up,iam like are you serious,if i was high i would have probably not felt the Sevier back pain i was in.i just walked out of this crazy ass FACILITY.
