This is the place where people go to die. One horrific putrid experience after another. Submitted formal complaint with Wisconsin state safety board against Dr. Mitchel Lewis whom pledged a hipocratic oath and did nothing for my father after an hour of being in the EMERGENCY room. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, ever, go somewhere else, your better at a veterinarian than you are there at that circus.
RecommendedI have had physical therapy but have never had such excellent attention that was directly applied for my problem. Breland Prochaska, her assistants, and the office staff were efficient, courteous, and respectful. I would highly recommend the Orthopedic Institute at Southwest Health Center. they work with you and are professional
We cannot say enough about the great care our daughter received on Feb. 21 when she needed her appendix out. She is a student at the UW and we live 2.5 hours away. Dr. Houghten kept us informed before and after surgery by personally calling me at home and when we were on the way. The entire hospital staff was so kind, caring and courteous. We arrived at 11:30 p.m. and the receptionist in the locked ER entrance took us right to the elevator and gave us directions to her room. I spent the last two days getting thyrogen injections in the cancer center at SWHC. It was something that I have been terrified to do, but it’s a necessary step in the treatment of thyroid cancer. The woman that gave my injections was the most kind-hearted nurse. She sensed my anxiety, talked to me about my particular situation, and even educated herself on what I’ll have to go through this week. What an awesome place to get healthy! I’m going to recommend swhc to anyone that needs surgery! Thanks to the nurses in the Medical Surgery wing for making my stay comfortable, memorable and amazing! The food was outstanding! The care first rate but more importantly, the care was personal. Great people! Thanks! Although nobody wants to be in the hospital, this place is going to be hard to leave! Ha!😇
