Last week we had an emergency with our puppy, Copper. When seeing there was something very serious with him, we called his vet in Holts Summit. On our way there, we noticed all the crazy traffic. There was no way we could wait in all of that. We needed to get somewhere quick. After calling every vet clinic in Jefferson City, we got a hold of one that would see us immediately. Southwest Animal Hospital is tip top. The staff is genuine and caring. I could go on all day about Dr. Prenger. The facilities are clean, bright and shiny for a comfortable atmosphere even when the situation is a sad one. Keep up the good work!

We brought our dog Bubba there for the first time tonight after being attacked by a coyote... They were all nice and wonderful but unfortunately Bubba had to many internal injuries to be saved... Sad day at the Pettit's house... But thank u for everything you did...
My cat got wonderful care but my issue was the fact that I was misinformed from the shelter on services provided. I was under the impression that my pets vaccinations were covered under the shelter and was told at pick up that my bill was 70+. You bet I was upset and shocked! When you think the services are paid for and your told otherwise when the services are already provided. I understand that it wasn't their fault it was a misunderstanding. I love Southwest Animal Hospital. When our dog was diagnosed with cancer several years ago the staff there did ever thing in their power to save him but in the end it was in Gods hands. They were so compassionate and caring. We will never take our other two dogs anywhere else.
They removed a mass from a very tricky area on my 13 y/o fur baby! It was so scary but they did a GREAT job!!!
