We are currently sitting with our family as my father-in-law is having open heart surgery - an aortic valve replacement for severe AI with CABG. Dr. Parks ignored my father-in-law for weeks, his concerns and symptoms. Finally we moved on to another provider, Dr. Ahmed, who knew something was wrong and took him into his service same-day at UAB (we highly recommend Dr. Ahmed by the way).
