Wish I could give ZERO STARS. Living here has been a nightmare. **MOUSE INFESTATION** and I mean infestation. **MOUSE INFESTATION** Over the last week we’ve had mice running through our apartment, and I mean a ton of them. Mouse droppings everywhere, etc. This is a complex wide issue because I’ve had extensive conversations with other neighbors as well as the maintenance team. Come to find out the trash is only being removed from the building once a week — that’s including the store front restaurants trash as well. It stinks... read more

The leasing staff person at SouthStar Lofts was terrific. She made us feel very welcome, and offered great information on the units and the neighborhood. It seems like a very well run apartment complex.

It was not what I had expected. I found it to be very quaint, comfy but very private and quiet, like hardly anyone lived there. I love the fact that they are pet friendly, but no space for the pets to exercise since they have to pay rent as well. The greeter, Corey was awesome. She was very thorough about her presentation of the property and transparent. Thank you for the opportunity to meet with you.

Excellent experience with Southstar, from our first appointment to view the property, through lease closing, and even now as regular tenants. The property is clean and quiet (with expected street noise from Broad Street) and the management team is superb - friendly and responsive. The location is exceptional - walkable to countless restaurants, two grocery stores, several coffee shops, and even an Insomnia Cookies!
