We aren't from here but we were so eager to try it because friends around told us about it after we moved to the area. Unfortunately our waitress was hard to find, our drinks were never refilled, our fries were burnt, and my Bloody Mary came watered down and was not good. We were unimpressed unfortunately. They Irish channel appetizer was great though so that's why I gave it 3 stars.
You get what you expect at Southside, a great meal at a reasonable price & fantastic service, in a smoke-free friendly atmosphere. A large variety of choices on the menu will please your whole party. Can't be beat on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain...
The food was amazing! We had the seafood platter, onion rings, gumbo and fried eggplant!service was awesome too!
