We went to Southside today for the first time for a vet appointment. We have used them multiple times for grooming. They have always been good, but today I had the most positive experience despite me showing up, thinking I was at the wrong place, leaving, and coming back at the complete wrong time. Dr. Ward was amazing, and the techs were awesome as well. So is the front desk staff. They took excellent care of my animals, as well as dealing with me� Thank you guys so much.
RecommendedThey are expensive but I like that there are four vets there. Crystal that works the front desk is fabulous. There’s one woman who works there that is very unfriendly. I thinks she’s the one who grooms the dogs. Never smiles. Looks likes she hates being there. I wouldn’t let her touch my dog. Everyone else is very friendly.
Never felt like I was just another customer when I took my dog in for treatment or lodging.EVERYONE is friendly from the front office to the doctors. Any questions I've asked are answered quickly and politely. I was never rushed in and out. No complaints whatsoever Take you pet there to get treatment or grooming or lodging for an overnight or longer stay!
Worst services unprofessional I been waiting for almost 2 hr and they never see my dog.
We have a lot of animals, requiring various levels of care. They have ALWAYS been as accommodating as possible, kind, and compassionate. Even when I call with a hundred questions, the front desk patiently answer and I feel listened to. We have unfortunately lost two of our babies in the past year and both times they were so caring and kind. I appreciate all that they do for our furkids. It takes a special kind of person to do their jobs. Thank you from our whole family.
They told us our dog was diabetic so we started giving him insulin shots, he was acting weird so we went in person, because they wouldn’t answer the phone, to ask if we should still give him the shot and the vet technician said to give him the shot regardless. So we did and he went into massive seizure for about 3 minutes, the first one he’s ever had. We took him in and got him back stable. He had some more seizures that night and died. I have loved the veterinarians. They have always been helpful, thorough and kind. It makes me sad that the front desk staff is often rude and incompetent. It took several calls over 3 days for them to finally approve a prescription request for heartworm medication for my dog. I apologized the last time I talked to them for calling so much, just saying I needed it to be filled as soon as possible and I got a "Uh huh" and hung up on.
