RecommendedVery caring staff and vets, even as busy as they are. They always seem to be able to fit me in, and ease my urgent worries.
RecommendedToday was my puppy’s first visit to the Veterinarian. Everyone was so nice, the vet techs got on the floor with the puppy so he could get to know them. They gave him his shots and trimmed his nails, talking soothingly as they went. The veterinarian explained throughly the steps of my puppy’s health plan. Check out was a breeze. My family has been taking our beloved pets to Southside Animal Hospital for over 20 years. The staff has always treated us with kindness and respect.
RecommendedThank you so much to the compassionate staff who helped my husband with our dog this morning! She normally has seasonal allergies that make her belly break out and we can usually treat it at home. But this morning our pup was hot all over and her belly was beet red. My husband took her to Southside to see if they could squeeze her in. Even though they had no openings for today one of the staff members gave my husband advice on how to care for her reaction at home further. RecommendedWe moved here with 2 cats who crossed the rainbow bridge. The vets here always took wonderful care of the. The first cat was elderly and died in out arms. He got regular checkups and flea treatments there. The other cat also older developed irritable bowel. I am sure we were diligent with the rewithhis prescriptions and recommendations. Unfortunately he chased a stray from the yard. And was hit. He sat in the front porch with us frequently. It was an accident. RecommendedThe staff are all kind, compassionate and highly skilled. They understand what is urgent and will stay late to handle the situation. I have been with them for years and will continue with their care.
I have used several times, always ask price before services are given. But several times when I pick up my pet the prices were higher than quoted.The last time was almost 100.00 , when I questioned this and asked why I wasn't called about the increase, I was told "they didn't have time to call every person about changes" then the kicker....." would you have told us not to do it" the person was rude and dismissive . I will not be using them again.
