Last year our mother started to be in her final stages of alzheimers. We initially went with another company in Muncie. That did not go well pretty much from the start, so we fired them and chose Southern Care. They had their stuff together from the start. All the staff, from the initial visit to the nurses that were there to help along the way. My Mom was under Southern Care Hospice in July (2019). She received the very best care. Nurse Patty that regularly seen her was so compassionate & caring. My Mom was in a nursing home facility while under the Hospice care. While the nursing home staff was very caring they were at times not very understanding how Hospice care works. I was so thankful Nurse Patty & the doctor from Southern Care knew what to do to keep my Mom from being in pain so she could rest peacefully.
