Best BBQ ever! Brunswick stew was delicious!!
great food, but timing is everything with the crowds. It would have been a 5 but parking is almost impossible

Recently, we ordered a large amount of food for takeout. There were 11 in our party. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, chicken wings, ribs, and all the fixings! Sadly, we ordered the last rack of ribs (I got to try one rib)!! We had ordered 4 slabs! The order was quickly filled and the food was outstanding. Amazing food! We ate their both nights we were at Saint Simons this year! Can't wait to get back!!
Delicious! It came highly recommended by family and friends. We thankfully got a parking spot and a great table inside. The Brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were super. The sauces were amazing. They were very busy---but communicated well in order to let folks know their food was on the way. Loved the John Wayne quote inside!
This place was jam-packed every time we drove by. So we called in our order at 7:00 pm on a Tuesday evening. After a 45 minute wait, they informed us that our ticket had been 'lost'. It happens, especially at a busy place. The Bar-Be-Cuban and pulled pork sandwiches were pretty good, although the pork was just a bit dry. The sampler with brisket and smoked turkey was delicious! We have a family/friend trip here yearly, we always eat at Southern Soul and we are never disappointed. I always bring home left overs for lunch another day. Let me recommend that at least one order of the fried Oreoes are split at your table. YUM!!!
