Southern Soul catered my son's wedding rehearsal dinner. I can't say enough positive things about both the food and staff. The brisket,ribs and prime rib were excellent!! The catering staff was amazing. They arrived on time and immediately took over all of the last minute details prior to our guests arriving. Southern Soul made the dinner party an event to remember! I have to say a special thanks to Amy,Mark,Lawton and Reese.

The folks at SSB were not aware but they were just another opportunity for us to bond as 14 of us assembled at SSI for our inaugural "first cousins reunion". Cousins from California, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida enjoyed the weekend. SSB came highly recommended by cousins who had enjoyed the experience previously; the staff and food did not disappoint! Not impressed by the way you wait outside to get inside to place an order. Food was ok, seems like a very unorganized establishment, it's like herding cattle! No personal service other than them yelling your name when your order is up and you must raise your hand for them to find you. No need for a tip, because is too chaotic. Food was mediocre, sauces we're good, but not worth all the hype the islander's claim it to be!
