Do not Sign up for Solar with this Company or any Company unless you know why you are getting into. The sale rep Sold us 44 panel system for 1500sqft single story house and told us we won’t have to pay electric bill at all. Yet we are making $300 payment for solar and average electric bill $250 a month. So if you really want solar you need the panels and backup batteries to have no or low electricity bill. WARNING! If I could give zero Stars I would. Our solar panels went down August of 2024 AND WE JUST GOT THEM UP AND RUNNING AGAIN 4 WEEKS AGO. Southern Solar ghosted us for 8 MONTHS! I TRACKED DOWN THE cEO on linkedin and then he ghosted us. Kevin Celmata was the sales pitch and they never showed back up after they FINALLY added our radiant barrier in our attic AFTER 6 months of waiting from the time of solar panel installation. They seem like 5 star service in the sale , but everything since has been 0 star. My install was sloppy I just installed new roof so designed system to be hidden and asked for the plumbing to be indiscreet as possible when installers arrived and they ignored that and just took the fastest easiest route to my box, had to put the wires up in my attic as they just had them slapped across with no effort to tuck them away.
