It was so refreshing to share Southern Roots with my friend. After nearly 3 years away (me); visiting Southern Roots while in town was a life affirming experience. As always the FOOD was AWESOME!!
If I want vegetarian healthy fare this is my go to. I tried jackfruit for the first time last week it is a natural fruit that mimics pulled pork. The mushroom pâté dip I picked as a side was phenomenal. Recently they expanded and there is plenty of seating now.
Love this place. If you are looking for vegan, look no further. The coffee ain't no bad either. JP and Mariah and their amazing staff have evolved this place into something to behold. Good karma will come back. Hope they keep the bulk purchasing as part of their program. It's amazing.

I am neither vegetarian nor vegan, but I am hooked on Bagel #1 and their Chai latte. Tofu egg scramble and some kind of sauerkraut? What is this sorcery? I’m enchanted, and have eaten here several times in a month. Scoffers, give it a go.
It’s was Great, Our 1st Vegan experience and the whole staff including Owners made it comfortable and very functional.. Loved the whole Vibe and the food was Great!!!!
Absolutely love this place! Delicious food, coffee, and awesome people!!! I buy my herbs here, amazing prices. They have other items to buy in bulk as well.
