This company has managed the property we live at for 2 or 3 years now. The developer is also the home builder, and the hoa president. There is no communication from either. The dues have increased by $200 every year we have lived here. We are now at $800 a year with no pool, playgrounds, or fishing ponds that was promised would be coming for 4 years now. SPMG is new to my location and immediately they put out more strict rules, emails if the grass is slightly grown over the limit, raised the HOA price, etc. I love my home but I believe i made a mistake by purchasing. Im really not sure where the HOA fees are really going. I been in my home since 2023 and I only seen sweepers sweep the streets once. I’m not sure who this company thinks they are. Coming into a neighborhood and just completely trying to big brother everything is not how it’s going to work. Trying to come up with new rules to veto original guidelines. Slinging violations left and right. Seems like a scam to just get more funding to me. We have been doing things the same way for years and now this company wants to come in and strong arm everybody. Good luck. Also to add to this review they charge some crazy random fees too
I have lived in HOA managed properties all over the United States and this one is by far the worst. Phone calls are not answered and emails are not responded to. Neglect for the property at large is a problem and the community manager who supposedly looks after the needs of the Arbor Place property, is not on-site and is non-responsive. Emails for board elections are generated from a "no reply" email address. The pool has been neglected, and there has been no word on when and if it will be operational for the coming season. ... read more
