I’m not sure who this company thinks they are. Coming into a neighborhood and just completely trying to big brother everything is not how it’s going to work. Trying to come up with new rules to veto original guidelines. Slinging violations left and right. Seems like a scam to just get more funding to me. We have been doing things the same way for years and now this company wants to come in and strong arm everybody. Good luck. Also to add to this review they charge some crazy random fees too
I have lived in HOA managed properties all over the United States and this one is by far the worst. Phone calls are not answered and emails are not responded to. Neglect for the property at large is a problem and the community manager who supposedly looks after the needs of the Arbor Place property, is not on-site and is non-responsive. Emails for board elections are generated from a "no reply" email address. We have lived in a few HOA communities with different management companies and SPMG is by far the best. They are very responsive when you have a question. Some of the violation notices are a bummer but I really feel like this company does try to balance all the homeowners without being over the top. I also really appreciate a company that actually calls you back right away and is friendly.
If I could rate them lower I would. They are so inconsistent with how they are managing HOA in our community. Their communication sucks. They are by far the worst. If anybody is planning on moving into the Townsend Farms in Hazel Green please think twice. This HOA is by far the worst in approving your request to beautify your property. The residents are unhappy about the $400 we pay a year. No amenities here for kids. Before moving into this community please do your research. People are moving out because of the HOA.
