Before we moved to Griffin, we lived closer to 12 other BBQ restaurants, but would drive farther to get to Southern Pit. Yeah, it’s that good! Now we live really close and it’s quick and easy to get some of the best food you can hope for. We haven’t had everything on the menu yet, but everything we’ve had has been great. My favorite so far is the pork plate with Brunswick stew and cole slaw, and an extra piece of cornbread. Great food, good service, food worth the price, we were visiting from Virginia, we love BBQ, thought we would give them a try. Certainly glad we did. Will definitely be back.
