This place is such a scam. We hunted with Dave twice and learned the hard way. Do yourself a favor and book with another outfitter. He blocks and deletes all the negative reviews because apparently, he doesn't like the truth. SOO caters to his buddies and those recurring customers who pay a ton of money. He's got his "core" which is the only way he's stayed in business. If you're not in his core group, you're wasting your money. He won't put you on the big deer or even shooters for that matter. What a great place to bow hunt. Guides know where the deer are and they put hunters in the right places to see deer. Dave has a great place. Food is great. Lots of deer. Will be going back in 2021.
PLACE IS A TOTAL JOKE.HE HUNTS 50-54 PPL EVERY 3 DAYS . ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS THE MONEY. NOONE IN THIS WORLD CAN JUSTIFY HUNTING THAT MANY PPL. WHEN I WAS THERE 14 PPL WERE ALREADY IN CAMP AND WHEN THEY SEEN MYSELF AND 2 BUDDIES THE HORROR STORIES BEGAN. EACH PERSON WAS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED BECAUSE THEY KNEW THEY HAD BEEN SCAMMED JUST AS I WAS. WE STAYED IN AN UNFINSIHED PLYWOOD ROOM WITH NO WORKING SMOKE DETECTORS OR FINISHED OUTLETS.
