Get directionsI am normally a positive rational person that gives people the benefit of doubt but after how I was just treated, I will say that I am frustrated and incensed. The only thing that can make my experience worse is the insane medical bill that will undoubtedly follow. I wouldn't take my dog to this emergency department if it had gotten run over and there were no other options. The crackhead down the street from my house offers higher quality medical advice and concern for my health.
The ER doctor told me one diagnosis and wrote a completely different diagnosis in the notes, so now I have to get all the tests redone by a competent doctor. I also sat in a room for over 4 hours and not one person came to check in on me.
Very nice place, love the nurses and they have great Doctors and really good food. They really treat everyone with respect. I would recommend them very highly. Excellent

My dad was taken to SOMC Wednesday by volunteer squad and while he was in SOMC his entire hospital stay was a freakin joke the kidney doctor that saw him in the hospital refused to give him another dialysis treatment after my dad had one the previous day and my dad still had fluid on his body but the doctor was very rude with him and basically told my dad since he was the doctor he knew my Dad’s body more than my dad knew his own body all of the nurses, and other staff members were nice the only staff member who was being a ... read more
I would maybe recommend if there is no other option but they are the most unfriendly place I have ever seen! They need a lesson in good ole southern hospitality this is southern Ohio! But I am a Tennessee gal so come on down Ohio and let me show you all around with some southern charm.
I had a Total Knee Replacement done by Dr Jarod Bentley last week. The care I received not only from Dr Bentley but by the entire staff at SOMC was THE best care possible. I am now receiving SOMC home physical therapy and progressing well toward my goal of getting back to work.
Well they basically said that my girlfriend is alright knowing that she has blood in her urine . A nurse said it was normal and it’s nothing to be concerned about .
it really depends on wat you go for Dr. Arnett is amazin and the maturity Ward is good but everything else I wouldn't send my dog therr
