The ER is an absolute disgrace. The way my 92 year old grandmother was treated by the ER Doctor and two ER nurses was absolutely deplorable. My mother is an employee there for 30 years and if her family member was treated so poorly then I can only imagine how other people who know no one are treated. I am a physical therapist and have worked in healthcare for quite a while and I am absolutely ashamed of this institution and will make sure that everyone I know and have connections to will hear about this incident. So far I've been very happy with the oncology department and the nurses that run chemotherapy. Everyone is very knowledgable, caring and sympathetic. The only issue I've had is wait times, but in all honesty, who is really in a hurry to have chemo!

I thought the pulmonary rehab was very interesting, informative and professional. I look forward to going there on Tuesday and Thursdays.
This whole Meridian system has fallen apart. There was once a time I'd go great distances to this hospital. Now, I can't wait to leave. I have been insanely disrespected by almost every staff member I've come in contact with due to my gender identity. I'm tired of correcting the same people over and over again. I'm also not pleased with how long it takes to get a response. I had emergency surgery today I just waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for my pain meds. This is ridiculous. After months of fighting between my two insurance companies over my recent surgery (which I recovered from nicely) David in customer service was amazing at helping calm my anxieties and straightening out my insurance stuff!!!!! Now not only do I feel better but I won't have to eat Ramen for dinner out of fear of silly insurance letters because David fixed it!!!! God Bless You!
