Great Dentist! This office environment is the best at any dental office I've every been to. Dr. Powell is courtesy and knowledgable. He is kind and easy to get along with. He is the most gentle, kind person ever. It doesn't even hurt when he gives you a filling!
RecommendedI was seen quickly and my problem was addressed efficiently with care and the utmost concern for my comfort. I came away with a small bill for what I thought was a great job!!
First, I really dislike the dentist. But I really needed a checkup. I told them beforehand that I was nervous and my hygienist, Kelley, was absolutely amazing!!! Kind, caring, supportive, compassionate. I felt so at ease (which is a big deal for me to say that!!). I’m so glad I went to Southern Family Dental and I won’t dread my next visit like I normally have in the past. Thank you all so much!!

My 6 year old had a very painful cavity. We were looking at having to wait for at least the weekend until she could be seen. Dr. Mentzer let us bring her in shortly before 5pm (which Im sure is when they would like to leave) and extracted her tooth. Dr. Mentzer, Debby, and Sandy were all incredible and my baby girl was back to normal and pain free in a couple of hours. Thanks so much! These are people who care!
