RecommendedWe had such a great time!! Rachel was our tour guide and she was amazing. All of the bourbons were amazing. Can't wait to come back.
We went and did a tasting. The bourbon cream is delicious. 5 year is pretty good. 10 year is good. I purchased the 10 year SiB knowing it was a 10 year MGP product and wow! Buy it, if you know good bourbon. It is an amazing bottle. You would never guess it is high rye. Flavors of caramel and butterscotch dominate the palate. Not a lot of rye spice on the palate and that isn’t a bad thing with this bottle. I will definitely be buying a few more.
Stopped by on a Sunday, didn’t know you were closed. We will stop again for a tour.
I had the opportunity to drive out and visit and tour Southern Distilling. I had a great tour and tasting with Rachel. I really enjoyed the history lesson of Statesville distilling. The distillery and its operation is very impressive. They produce an excellent rye bourbon whiskey.
My Father and I took the behind the scene tour with Melisa as our tour guide. We had a great time talking with her, learning about the history of Statesville and the distilling process.
Did the quick and easy tour. Nice facility with some unique stills. I love bourbon 🥃 and had some simple questions during the tasting that the guide just couldn’t answer. Otherwise would have given 5 stars. Good product for the price. Still have a hard time accepting bourbon outside of KY but have to admit good flavor profiles.
absolutely amazing time with our tour and tasting! definitely will be back! oh let's not forget my husband got to bottle his own 10 yr bourbon and has it signed by Pete!!!
Had a wonderful time with family from 3 states came together to celebrate my niece and her fiancé engagement. Was very handicap accessible for wheelchair. (Bathroom huge) Great history and nice people about the building. Favorite was Southern Star Double shot!! Nice little area to hang out a sip. Highly recommend for a fun afternoon stop.
